Short timeline summary: After gaining experience in the field of online marketing and e-commerce in Germany and the U.S., I am currently doing my MBA in Hamburg. The time as a junior ambassador in Portland, Oregon taught me how important cultural intelligence is in our globalized world. This is one reason why my Bachelor and Master theses are both connecting the fields of digitization and global politics. Until the end of 2021, I've studied in Tel-Aviv at Coller School of Management. Now I'm back in Hamburg finishing my MBA at Hamburg Media School.

Starting at HEIMPLANET, I had the chance to reform the digital marketing department from scratch. The startup started off with developing one-of-a-kind inflatable tents and is capturing the market of modern outdoor gear recently. Relaunching the online shop, initiating an affiliate program, managing a Kickstarter Campaign and setting up tracking funnels for more data-driven marketing were part of our early achievements. For more efficient team growth, acquiring web development skills, introducing new project management tools and migrating our mail-server to GSuite became personal projects outside my common activities.
Fielmann AG is market leader in Germany and Europe's largest optician. Optimizing and executing the SEO-Strategy for several brand websites as well as developing a Local SEO-Strategy for the stores was my core responsibility (700+ Locations).
Having the privilege to work with Jordan Delapoer (Partner & Director, Brand Strategy) at the midsize advertising ageny NORTH taught me the variety of what user focussed thinking can mean. I was involved in creating fundamental business formation for start-ups, developing go-to-market strategies and performing in-depth audience analysis for brands. My tasks also included competitive audits and trademark research, as well as general business and industry analysis. Clients: Columbia Sportswear, Laika Studios & Start-Ups
After being brand management intern for two months at the advertising agency Leagas Delaney, I started a dual-system traineeship and graduated officially as Management Assistant for Marketing Communication after two years. During the time, coordination of campaigns and the general project management between in-house departments, service providers and the client was my responsibility. Besides ŠKODA International (Volkswagen Group), Bosch Automotive and MSC Cruises were the main clients I have worked with.
The public-private partnership in the Digital Media Major (EN/DE) combines a theoretical engagement in media studies and history with hands-on training in the foundations of programming and the creative application of digital media. It is internationally oriented and classes are held in English. In the minor E-Business (EN/DE) the business administrative and technological foundations of E-business are examined and viewed in detail in the context of lectures, tutorials and especially consulting-projects with companies.
Germany's so-called dual system allows trainees to alternate between school and practical work experience. Besides working at Leagas Delaney Hamburg, the Media & Communication School imparted certain knowledge about Marketing, PR, Controlling, Media Law & Production.
After preschool (kindergarten) and elementary school (grades 1-4), German students attending the academic secondary school "Gymnasium" until grade 13 can earn a diploma called "Abitur". This is a higher education entrance qualification and allows the general application at universities.
